Nick and Ashley met in September 2018 through their shared love of boxing, beginning as friends who spent the next two years training side by side. Along the way, they discovered a deeper connection through film and tv then into their shared faith, which led them to traveling together to Tulsa, Oklahoma in February 2020, for a church conference.
Later that year, they made their relationship official after realizing their connection had grown into something more than friendship. Since then, they’ve built a life centered around faith, family, fitness, travel, and the people they love most. On December 30, 2025, during a trip through Brazil, Nick proposed atop Sugarloaf Mountain, turning their longtime friendship and love story into forever.
